A LASTING IMPACT

New Story and our local partners build lasting, sustainable relationships to ensure long term support and growth.

Own Their Pain

Urgency and empathy. We must act as if we physically are in the same situation as those who we help. Another day without a safe home is one too many. If not now, when?

We will also own the pain that potential donors have giving to charity. We ourselves had pains — not seeing who we’re helping, not knowing where our money went, not knowing the results and more. We’ll create a better giving experience for our donors.

Less But Better

We will strive to make all things insanely simple. All communication, design, meetings — everything we do.

Open Doors

Transparency and accountability. We open our doors to open doors for families in a new home — which in turn opens doors to new possibilities. We will be fully transparent and accountable in everything we do.

100% of all donations go directly to fund new homes. Operational costs are covered by our generous investor donors.

We work with Mission of Hope Haiti (MOH), which has been on the ground in Haiti for 16 years and partnered with the Clinton Foundation to bring sustainable energy to the MOH housing community. Learn more about our local partners.

We don’t simply provide safe homes for those living in immediate danger, we help people live life again.

A home supports a security of self, family, health and resources – fundamental needs that we believe are human rights.

Falling asleep without fear, having a place to gather as a family, and locking your door when headed to work or school are among the countless protections a home provides. These are protections that make upward economic progress possible – allowing hope to flourish and potential to  actualize.

Our model: a simple and radically transparent crowdfunding platform to give donors a trustworthy, tangible, and sustainable donor experience. Donors meet the families on the other end and know not only where their money is going, but what it is accomplishing.
