Meet Emmanuel and family

What happens next?
New Story gives 100% of your donations (including cc processing fees) local partner who has local Haitian contractors ready to start building. It will take about 2 months to build the home, and every donor will get an update once the home is complete.

Their Story
Emmanuel is a farmer who dreams of having a house one day.

He, his wife Enia, and their two children Emmanuela (10) and Eniel (8) have lived in the tent since the earthquake, when their house was destroyed. That means over 5 years of living in conditions unsuitable for anyone - especially young kids.

Now, they face heat inside the tent and as a result, their family is frequently sick.

For Emmanuel and Enia, a new home is a safe, hope-filled, and healthy environment to raise their children.

With a new home, “I will feel so comfortable”. He expresses that he will be incredibly grateful to all those involved in changing the life trajectory for his family.
