Meet Odinord

What happens next?
New Story gives 100% of your donations (including cc processing fees) local partner who has local Haitian contractors ready to start building. It will take about 2 months to build the home, and every donor will get an update once the home is complete.

Their Story
Odinord’s house was destroyed in the earthquake. As of today, he’s been homeless for five years, living in a tent that provides minimal protection from theft, storms, and heat.

Odinord, a 45-year-old farmer, says that his dream is to find a house. “I can’t stay in my home during the day because the tent is so hot.”

This is no way for a human being to live.

Through your donation, we can provide Odinord with the opportunity, safety, and hope of a new house.

With a new home, “I will feel proud to say thank you to  everyone who has collaborated to help me get a house.”
