Chrisline shared,“I never feel comfortable in the tent, it’s always so terribly hot, we cannot ever stay inside.”
Chrisline (a merchant) and her husband (a mason – not pictured) recently brought a baby girl, Santos (1) into the world. The health of this family, especially their baby, is at risk due to lack of access to basic sanitation and reliable clean water. You can change all of that by contributing to a brand new home for these three in a safe community with clean water and sanitation access.
Since the 2010 earthquake left them homeless they have lived in a tent. “There are some holes in the tent and rain and wind always come in,” explains Chrisline. Their daughter has the opportunity to grow up in a secure environment, never made to endure the fears and struggles associated with the tent camp lifestyle.
A new home means health, safety, and an environment in which to thrive.
