Meet Enel and family

What happens next?
New Story gives 100% of your donations (including cc processing fees) local partner who has local Haitian contractors ready to start building. It will take about 2 months to build the home, and every donor will get an update once the home is complete.

Their Story
The only life Enel and Louis Janne’s 3 year old daughter has known is living in a tent. She has never known the safety of a home - but we can change that today.

Enel and his wife Louis Janne, an Accountant, moved to Leveque after the earthquake because they had nowhere to live.

The tent is unlivable for the family because of the heat inside. As a result of the poor living conditions, the family is always getting sick. This is compounded with daily fears of rape and theft of their few possessions.

A new house would provide a safe and healthy environment for Enel and Louis Janne to raise their daughter.

With a new home, “I will be so happy and say thank you!”
