Jean Claude is 65 year old farmer who lives with his two sons (25 and 15). They lived in Cabaret before the earthquake of 2010 of destroyed their home. While they all work hard each day they do not have the resources to build a new home.
We can remove the Jean Claude and his sons from this dangerous environment and into a safe home. This would bring them safety, security, reliable sanitation and hope to fulfill their potential.
Together, we can change their story
Investments from private donors allows New Story to pass 100% of public donations straight to home projects.
After five horrific years of living in a dangerous tent, on July 11th, 2015, Jean Claude and his 2 sons moved into their new house – a place for peace, security, legacy, and opportunity.
When asked by our local partner, Mission of Hope, what Jean Claude wished for the future he responded, “I wish to work together with my new community to make it even better.”
He went on to say, “I thank the people who have given me and my community our homes.”
Jean Claude and his family and New Story would like to thank you writing this new story.
The best way to help is too share their story and yours.
