What happens next?

It will take about 2 months to build the home, and every donor will get an update once the home is complete.

Their Story
Myrtha sells produce and dreams of a better life for her 3 children Bergline (17), Widson (14) and Diana (2), spouse Charles, and grandmother Lisia. 

Their home was destroyed in the 2010 earthquake, leaving this large, hardworking family homeless. Their tent is unsafe and exposes them to dangers like theft, rape, and sanitation borne diseases. Their only refuge is seeking shelter, on occasion, in the homes of others. 

Myrtha tells us stories of how the heat impacts the health of her 2 year old and how rats eat her family’s few worldly possessions. 

With a new home, “I will feel so very happy, I can’t even express how I will feel”
